Oxidation Resistant Transformer Oil
Transformer oil is an important insulating and heatdissipating medium used in transformers for power transmission and transformation projects, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of substations. As such, transformer oil must meet essential functional requirements, including insulation and heat dissipation, along with high withstand voltage and low dielectric loss as fundamental electrical performance metrics. With advancements in highvoltage power transmission technology, transformer oils are required to possess high oxidation stability, thermal stability, and effective resistance to gas precipitation. Additionally, strict control over trace water and particulate impurities has become necessary.
Product Details:Oxidation Resistant Transformer Oil
During the charged operation of a transformer, two types of losses occur: "copper consumption" and "core loss." These losses manifest as heat. If the heat generated in the coils is not dissipated, it will accumulate, leading to an increase in temperature within the iron core. This accumulation can damage the solid insulation surrounding the coil, potentially resulting in coil burnout. However, when transformer oil is used, the heat generated inside the coil is first absorbed by the oil. The oil then circulates, effectively dissipating the heat and ensuring the safe operation of the equipment.
