High Voltage Insulating Oil Solutions
Produced via a complex series of distillation and purification steps from natural petroleum, transformer oil is a man-made mineral oil. Its primary chemical component, naphthenic hydrocarbon, comprises nearly 80% of its entire composition, while the remaining elements are primarily aromatic hydrocarbons and alkanes. Transformer oil exhibits stable physical characteristics, with a relative density of 0.895, a freezing point generally under 45°C, and a flash point of at least 136°C.
Product Details:High Voltage Insulating Oil Solutions
Encompassing numerous advantages, insulating oils exhibit superior dielectric strength, elevated flash points, low viscosity, purity from organic acids, alkalis, and sulfur corrosion, excellent emulsification resistance, absence of sludge accumulation under regular use, rapid precipitation of arc waste, and a low pour point. These strengths enable them to perform impeccably in insulating and cooling tasks for electrical systems.

1. Transformer Oil Service Life
In general, the replacement interval for transformer oil ranges from 5 to 10 years. It is important to note that this is just an approximate range, and the actual replacement schedule should be determined by the specific situation of the transformer. The service life of transformer oil is a complicated matter affected by multiple factors. To maintain normal transformer operation and prolong its lifespan, regular inspections and assessments of the transformer oil are recommended, with timely replacements as necessary.
2. Factors Affecting Service Life
Transformer Load: When a transformer consistently operates under high load, the oil may age faster, resulting in a reduced service life. Consequently, reasonable control of the transformer load is crucial for extending the oil's longevity.
Oil Quality: The quality of transformer oil is a significant factor impacting its lifespan. High-quality oils offer better thermal stability and anti-aging properties, which can help extend their service life. Conversely, lower-quality oils may experience rapid aging, leading to a shorter lifespan.
