Reliable Electrical Insulation Oil

Transformer oil, a synthetic derivative of natural petroleum, undergoes rigorous distillation and refining procedures. Its key chemical constituent, naphthenic hydrocarbon, constitutes approximately 80% of its total composition, with the remaining components primarily being aromatic hydrocarbons and alkanes. This oil is characterized by its stable physical properties, featuring a relative density of 0.895, a freezing point typically less than 45°C, and a flash point no less than 136°C.
Product Details:Reliable Electrical Insulation Oil
With a diverse range of benefits, insulating oils possess high dielectric resilience, high flash point thresholds, minimal viscosity, absence of organic acids, alkalis, and sulfur-based corrosion, robust anti-emulsification qualities, minimal formation of deposits under standard operating conditions, quick elimination of arc byproducts, and a low pour temperature. These attributes make them ideal for providing superior insulation and cooling in electrical equipment.

1. Transformer Oil Service Life
The usual replacement cycle for transformer oil is between 5 and 10 years. However, this should be viewed as a rough estimate, as the actual timing for replacement needs to be evaluated based on the transformer’s unique conditions. The longevity of transformer oil is a multifaceted issue impacted by various influences. To ensure the transformer runs efficiently and to maximize its lifespan, it is suggested to conduct regular checks and evaluations of the transformer oil, replacing it promptly when required.
2. Factors Affecting Service Life
Transformer Load: Extended exposure to high loads on a transformer can accelerate the aging process of the oil, shortening its lifespan. Therefore, effectively managing transformer load is key to prolonging the oil's service life.
Oil Quality: The lifespan of transformer oil is largely determined by its quality. High-quality transformer oil is characterized by better thermal stability and resistance to aging, which can enhance its service life. In contrast, low-quality oil may degrade rapidly, resulting in a shorter lifespan.
