Safety-Optimized Oil For Power Systems

Manufactured through a series of distillation and purification stages from natural petroleum, transformer oil is a synthetic mineral oil. Its vital chemical component, naphthenic hydrocarbon, comprises roughly 80% of its total composition, with the balance comprising mostly aromatic hydrocarbons and alkanes. Transformer oil possesses stable physical properties, including a relative density of 0.895, a freezing point generally below 45°C, and a flash point exceeding 136°C.
Product Details:Safety-Optimized Oil for Power Systems
Highlighting a multitude of virtues, insulating oils offer remarkable dielectric strength, high flash point values, low viscosity properties, purity from organic acids, alkalis, and corrosive sulfur, exceptional anti-emulsification performance, no slag accumulation during normal operation, swift disposal of arc residues, and a low pour point. These strengths contribute significantly to their exceptional insulating and cooling capabilities in electrical apparatus.

1. Transformer Oil Service Life
Generally speaking, transformer oil replacement occurs every 5 to 10 years. It’s essential to understand that this is a broad reference point, and the specific replacement timing should be assessed according to the individual circumstances of the transformer. The durability of transformer oil is a complex topic influenced by several factors. To guarantee the transformer functions correctly and to extend its lifespan, it is recommended to routinely inspect and evaluate the transformer oil and replace it in a timely manner based on actual conditions.
2. Factors Affecting Service Life
Transformer Load: If a transformer is subjected to prolonged high loads, the aging rate of the oil can increase, leading to a shorter service life. Thus, it is important to manage the transformer load properly to extend the oil's lifespan.
Oil Quality: The quality of transformer oil plays a crucial role in determining its service life. Oils of high quality provide improved thermal stability and anti-aging properties, which can contribute to a longer lifespan. Conversely, poor-quality oils may age quickly, leading to a reduced service life.
