U-10 transformer oil is a natural ester oil. Natural ester is a renewable resource, strong biodegradability, its triglyceride chemical structure of glycerol in the three hydroxyl groups by different fatty acid esterification, belongs to the K class of high ignition point transformer insulating oil.
Product Details：Cycloalkane Based Transformer Oil U-10
The ignition point of this product can reach 360 ℃, with small flammability and certain self-extinguishing function. In terms of electrical performance, the breakdown voltage strength of natural ester insulating oil after thermal aging is better than that of mineral insulating oil.

1. Main components:
Insulating oils are mainly composed of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and other low molecular compounds, which give them good chemical stability. In mineral insulating oils, the main components include chain alkane hydrocarbons (CH) and cycloalkane (CH) hydrocarbons. Synthetic insulating oils and vegetable oils, on the other hand, have their own unique chemical composition, but also have excellent chemical stability.
2. Chemical Properties:
The flash point and ignition point of insulating oils are usually high, which ensures that the equipment will not easily catch fire at high temperatures. Insulating oil has low density and moderate viscosity, these physical properties ensure its good fluidity and lubricity.
3. Storage container
(1) Material: The storage container should be a sealed, non-leaking container made of corrosion-resistant, abrasion-resistant material with good sealing performance.
(2) Inspection and Maintenance: The valves and ports on the storage container should be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure good sealing. Meanwhile, the container should be kept clean and dry to avoid contamination and oxidation of the oil.
