Cycloalkane Based Transformer Oil
Manufactured from highly refined lubricant base oils with the addition of antioxidants, insulating oils serve as crucial dielectrics in electrical equipment. Their primary characteristics are their ability to operate at low temperatures, strong oxidative resistance, and minimal dielectric losses. Low-temperature performance refers to the oil's natural convection, heat dissipation, and instant arc current interruption in electrical devices at low temperatures. Hence, they must possess a low pour point and low viscosity under such conditions.
Product Details:Cycloalkane Based Transformer Oil
As a fractionated product of petroleum refining, transformer oil is a carefully formulated blend of alkanes, cycloalkanes, and aromatic hydrocarbons, originating from natural crude oil. Its core functions encompass insulation and cooling of transformers and associated electrical equipment, efficiently transferring heat away from the system to facilitate cooling. This critical role helps stabilize transformer temperatures, forestalling overheating issues, and ultimately safeguarding the continuity and safety of production processes.

1. Oil Change Procedure
Transformer oil replacement is a crucial maintenance task requiring meticulous preparation. First, the transformer's de-energization and isolation are confirmed to ensure operational safety. Following this, the old oil is drained thoroughly, and the interior of the oil tank is cleaned comprehensively. The new oil is infused slowly through specialized piping and an oil filter, with close attention paid to oil level changes. After the oil change, electrical tests and oil quality analysis are performed to verify transformer performance and new oil quality. Finally, the oil change process is documented for future maintenance reference.
2. Electrical Performance Testing
The Dielectric Dissipation Factor serves as a metric reflecting the extent of energy loss in transformer oil within an electric field, offering insights into the oil's electrical performance and potential contamination or aging issues.
The Breakdown Voltage assessment determines the transformer oil's capability to withstand electrical stress thresholds. A low breakdown voltage signifies increased vulnerability to electrical breakdown, potentially disrupting equipment operations.
Resistivity measurements gauge the conductivity of transformer oil, with compliant oil exhibiting resistivity within prescribed limits, vital for maintaining power equipment's seamless functioning.
