Advanced Ester Transformer Oil for Optimal Performance

Insulating oil typically fulfills three essential functions: insulation, heat dissipation, and arc extinguishing. The dependable operation of electrical equipment such as transformers, reactors, and oil switches largely hinges on these fundamental properties of the insulating oil. Within transformers, reactors, and inductors, the oil mainly serves to provide insulation and facilitate cooling. Additionally, in the event of an arc occurring in these devices, the oil is also responsible for extinguishing it. In oilfilled casings, the primary role of the oil is insulation, while in oil switches, it is crucial for both extinguishing arcs and providing insulation.
Product Details:Advanced Ester Transformer Oil for Optimal Performance
Renowned as liquid insulating material or insulating liquid, insulating oil is employed to electrically isolate conductors of diverse potential levels. It effectively replaces gases, filling spaces inside or between solid material poles to boost dielectric characteristics and amplify the heat dissipation capabilities of electrical apparatus. This indispensable insulating substance plays a pivotal role in ensuring the proper functioning and safety of electrical systems upon proficient handling and maintenance.

1. Applicable Industry
High-voltage transformers: Transformer oil acts as an insulating medium against arcing and short circuits, while providing reliable insulation protection at high voltages.
Distribution transformers: In low-voltage distribution systems, transformer oil helps dissipate heat, keeping equipment within safe temperature ranges and ensuring the stability of the power supply.
Generators: Transformer oils are used to insulate and cool generators, lowering their internal temperatures and improving efficiency and equipment life.
Steam Turbines: In the electrical systems of steam turbines, transformer oil provides insulation to ensure safe operation of the equipment at high temperatures and pressures.
2. Environmental Friendliness of Transformer Oil
Biodegradability: Most conventional transformer oils are petroleum-based and are poorly biodegradable. They can take decades to fully degrade in the environment, leading to long-term contamination of soil and water sources. New vegetable-based transformer oils (e.g., soybean oil, canola oil, etc.) are highly biodegradable and can usually be degraded within a few months. Synthetic oils (e.g., ester oils) also perform well environmentally and can be degraded by nature in a relatively short period of time.
