High Voltage Oil Customized Transformer Oil T-40

In electrical devices, insulating oil can undergo oxidation due to prolonged exposure to heat and oxygen when subjected to an electric field. Oils enhanced with antioxidants and metal passivators exhibit improved oxidative stability. Typically, the dielectric loss of transformer oil at 90℃ should not exceed 0.5%. This dielectric loss indicates the extent of the oil's dielectric deterioration in an AC electric field, often measured using the tangent of the dielectric loss angle (δ). Naphthenic oil is an excellent choice for producing oils used in electrical equipment due to its low pour point, effective lowtemperature fluidity, and favorable electrical and thermal properties.

Product Details:High Voltage Oil Customized Transformer Oil T-40

Boasting a vast range of benefits, insulating oils exhibit superior dielectric performance, high ignition thresholds, minimal fluid viscosity, absence of organic acids, alkalinity, and sulfur corrosion, exceptional resistance to emulsification, negligible formation of deposits during regular operation, prompt precipitation of arc products, and a low pour point. These strengths underpin their exceptional insulating and cooling capabilities within electrical machinery.

1. Factors Affecting Service Life

Design life: The design life of the transformer also affects the life of the transformer oil. Generally, the design life of a transformer is set according to the service life of the oil. Therefore, within the design life, the service life of the transformer oil should be able to meet the operational requirements of the transformer.

Environmental conditions: Environmental factors such as high temperature, humidity or pollution can also have an impact on the service life of transformer oil. Under poor environmental conditions, the aging speed of the oil will be accelerated, thus shortening its service life.

2. Oil Change Inspection

Chromatography enables the identification of dissolved gases in oil, such as hydrogen, methane, and ethane. The presence of these gases can indicate potential problems like overheating, electrical discharge, or other anomalies in the transformer, as well as possible aging or contamination of the oil. It is important to consult national or industry standards concerning the quality of transformer oil. Should the test results reveal that the oil quality falls short of these standards, it may be necessary to replace the transformer oil.
