Acid value: Usually, the acid value is less than 0.05mgKOH/g. The lower the acid value, the more stable the insulating oil is chemically. This also means it will be less corrosive to the electrodes and insulation materials of the capacitor.
Moisture: Generally, the moisture content is required to be less than 50ppm. Excessive moisture can substantially reduce the insulating performance of the insulating oil, increase dielectric loss, and even trigger internal breakdown of the capacitor.
