Flame-Retardant Transformer Insulation
Designed specifically for electrical equipment such as transformers, transformer oil is commonly made from mineral or synthetic oils and boasts two critical characteristics. One is its outstanding insulating properties, which allow it to function as an insulating barrier in electrical equipment, safely isolating components in high-voltage settings and stopping current leakage. The other is its good heat dissipation ability, which can promptly carry away heat produced by equipment operation, keeping the equipment running stably and guaranteeing the reliable and efficient operation of the power system.
Product Details:Flame-Retardant Transformer Insulation
This product adopts a deep hydrogenation methodology, resulting in sulfur content <0.001% and aromatic hydrocarbons <5%—metrics that align with all EU environmental requirements. More than 95% of it can be recovered and reused. Notably, to match the compact nature of urban power grid equipment, it enhances liquidity to improve heat dissipation efficiency. This extension of equipment lifespan by 30% or more allows the product to effectively combine performance, environmental sustainability, and adaptability to various application contexts.

1. Oil Change Inspection
Check for Appearance: Assess the oil for any visible impurities or deposits, which may result from aging, oxidation, or contamination. A noticeable dark or cloudy appearance could indicate that the oil needs to be replaced.
Conduct Insulation Resistance Tests: An insulation resistance test should be performed, as a decline in resistance can indicate moisture or other contaminants in the oil, potentially affecting its insulating effectiveness.
2. Factors Affecting Service Life
To ensure the longevity of transformer oil, it is crucial to perform regular quality testing and analysis. This should include evaluations of insulation resistance, absorption ratio, polarization index, dielectric loss, winding leakage current, and microwater content in the oil. A thorough examination of these factors allows for the identification of moisture, impurities, or signs of aging. If problems are detected, an initial solution may be to regenerate the oil through filtration. However, if this approach is impractical or if the oil quality has significantly worsened, it will be necessary to replace the transformer oil entirely.
