1. Selection Precautions

Secure Packaging & Transport: Maintain packaging integrity, ensuring clear and attractive printing, as well as comprehensive labeling (manufacturer's details, trademarks). During shipment, exercise caution to prevent impacts and shaking, keeping the product in pristine condition.

Safety Assurance: Ensure the transformer complies with all relevant safety regulations, both nationally and within the industry, complemented by comprehensive safety features.

Environmental Considerations: Emphasize the transformer's eco-credentials, selecting models that minimize noise and emissions, adhering to environmental standards.

2. Transformer Applications in Renewable Energy

WTGs: In the electricity generation process from wind turbine generators (WTGs), the wind turbine's rotation drives the generator to produce electricity, which is usually in the form of low voltage alternating current (AC). The transformer’s role is to elevate this low-voltage power to a higher voltage (e.g., 35kV or higher) so that it can be transmitted through lines to the grid located away from the power farm.

Integrated systems: In large wind farms, multiple WTGs are often connected to a substation where a transformer aggregates and steps up the power generated by all units, ensuring efficient power delivery. Furthermore, the transformer is capable of handling voltage and frequency differences among various WTGs, ensuring stable system operation.
