Upon purchasing a transformer, it's imperative to promptly request the power supply bureau for a handover test. Additionally, ensure the installation of a moisture absorber, which is standard in transformers of 100 kVA and above.
Instantly upon delivery, install a moisture absorber to safeguard the transformer's interior from moisture damage.
Closely monitor the silica gel-encapsulated moisture absorber. Once it's saturated with moisture, replace it immediately. This absorber serves to protect the transformer by absorbing humidity. Note the color change in the silica gel, which signals the need for replacement with a dry, fresh batch.
During transformer operation, constantly keep an eye on parameters such as oil level, temperature, voltage, and current for any unusual changes. Address and analyze any detected abnormalities promptly.
