Vacuum Pump Fluids

Vacuum pumps necessitate a unique lubricant that is engineered to fulfill the stringent criteria for lubrication efficiency and sealing integrity within environments characterized by intense heat, pressure, and vacuum. This lubricant exists in two primary classifications: mineral-based and synthetic, with each category exhibiting its own set of performance advantages and tailored applications.

1. Oil Selection and Use

(1) Matchability: When selecting a pump oil, you need to consider whether the type of oil matches the equipment. Different types of vacuum pumps may require different types of lubricants to ensure optimal operation.

(2) Mixing taboo: vacuum pump oils of different grades and varieties cannot be mixed, nor can old and new oils be mixed. At the same time, strictly avoid mixing vacuum oil with other lubricants, not to mention mixing light oils, otherwise it will affect the vacuum performance.

(3) Dosage control: the amount of added pump oil should be controlled between one-third and two-thirds. Too much or too little oil may adversely affect the operation of the vacuum pump.

2. Precautions

(1) Choose the right type and specification of oil to meet the working requirements of the vacuum pump.

(2) Regularly check the quality and quantity of oil and replace aged and polluted oil in time.

(3) Observe the operation regulations and safety norms to ensure personal safety and normal operation of the equipment.
